The Silhouette Instalift

The Silhouette Instalift is a revolutionary treatment similar to a PDO Thread Lift that we offer at Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery & Longevity Center, including our Northern CA locations. The clear threads used during the treatment are inserted just below the skin’s surface to lift and tighten the area while promoting increased collagen and elastin production. This non-surgical treatment uses Micro-Expansion technology with micro cones to lift the skin and increase collagen production.

Unlike PDO threads, which are made of polydioxanone, the threads used in this treatment are clear and have tiny cones at the edges made of poly L lactic acid, which is the active ingredient in Sculptura products. Sculptra is a collagen-stimulating cosmetic injectable that many patients use to combat the signs of aging in place of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers. It delivers immediate results but also helps the body produce increased collagen in the treatment area.

What Does It Treat?

This treatment can address and correct some of the most common signs of aging. It subtly and naturally lifts the skin and helps tighten the treatment area. It can also address facial drooping, folds, loose skin, jowls, and smile lines. It’s a skin-lifting and skin-tightening treatment that delivers natural yet noticeable results that will help you turn back the clock on the aging process.

While these threads work similarly to other thread lifts, the primary difference is that once inserted, they create a foundation of collagen in the treatment area, and they will slowly dissolve over time. How Many Treatments Will I Need?

Since the Silhouette Instalift delivers long-lasting results, you’ll be able to enjoy youthful skin for up to two years post-treatment. If you begin to notice changes in your results, since you cannot stop the aging process, you can schedule another treatment when your results fade to maintain youthful-looking skin over time.

Is There Any Downtime?

Post-treatment, you won’t have to worry about planning around significant downtime, but you will have five to six days during which you’ll have to focus on recovery and caring for your skin. We will provide you with details regarding what to expect after your treatment and what topical products or activities to avoid until the treatment site has healed.

Caring for the Treatment Areas

Typically, you will want to focus on keeping your face in a rested position, during which you will avoid making extreme facial expressions. Doing so will help you benefit from increased collagen production without negatively impacting your results.

Am I a Treatment Candidate?
