Fibromyalgia and Chonic Fatigue Syndrome Therapy

Both of these disorders involve a chronic and disabling state of fatigue that is ongoing for several  months.  The difference with fibromyalgia is that it also has a component of a chronic unrelenting pain and inflammation. Most patients with these syndromes will have deficiencies of various nutrients and endocrine dysfunction.  These deficiencies may include micro nutrients such as magnesium, potassium, B vitamins, folic acid and endocrine deficiencies including progesterone, testosterone, thyroid, growth hormone,  DHEA, and other hormones.  Frequently, these individuals may have laboratory evidence of viral, bacterial, fungal, or parasitic infections.

Unfortunately, the conventional approach does not target the root cause,  and most patients lose hope, while being placed on medications for anti-inflammation and pain and antidepressants for mood stabilization.  These approaches do not diagnose the root cause of the symptoms. A specialized, in-depth diagnostic approach is required to fully diagnose and treat these issues, and most successful approach to chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia involves correcting underlying deficiencies and imbalances.
Many are told they just have to live with this condition, but individuals improved dramatically with oral, IV, GI, and/or hormonal supplementIon. Each laboratory evaluation and treatment program is completely individualized and our goal is for you to enjoy your everyday life again with energy.
