How Is VASER® Liposuction Different Than Traditional Liposuction?

Liposuction

If you have been struggling to get rid of fat in a certain problem area, you are not alone. Countless people develop pockets of stubborn fat that seem impossible to get rid of despite their best efforts. For many years, liposuction has been one of the primary procedures to contour the body and get rid of stubborn fat. But a treatment known as VASER liposuction has made the process easier for both patients and surgeons.

Liposuction

At Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery & Longevity Center, we understand the frustration of stubborn fat. We serve our patients in Noblesville, IN by offering the best fat-reduction treatments that are available today. VASER liposuction is our procedure of choice for many patients who want to sculpt their bodies.

What Makes VASER Liposuction Different?

The goal of VASER liposuction is the same as that of the traditional liposuction procedure: to remove fat. However, traditional liposuction can come with a longer downtime. During traditional liposuction, an incision is made through which a cannula is inserted. The fat is then removed manually as the surgeon moves the suction cannula back and forth. While this is a highly effective procedure that is still used in some situations, it takes more time and effort to remove the fat cells. It can also cause more irritation to the surrounding tissues. Because of this, the patient may have more swelling or bruising in the area and it can take longer to recover.

VASER, short for vibration amplification of sound energy at resonance, is a liposuction treatment that is assisted by ultrasonic technology. Before the fat is removed from the body, it is broken down using ultrasonic energy. This is done with ultrasound probes which are inserted into the treatment area before the liposuction is performed. Ultrasonic energy separates the fat from the surrounding tissue making it much easier to remove. Next, the fat can be removed using liposuction technology.

Three Key Benefits of VASER Liposuction

1. Smoother Results

The VASER liposuction procedure can produce highly satisfactory results. Because the fat is broken down, it can provide more even fat removal. We also have an even greater amount of control with this procedure. VASER body sculpting can produce a smoother and more satisfactory result than traditional liposuction.

2. Skin Tightening and Fat Removal

In addition to the fat removal benefits of VASER lipo treatment, it has the additional benefit of tightening the surrounding skin. The ultrasonic energy can cause the surrounding tissues and skin to contract as the underlying fat is broken down. This can alleviate some of the concerns that you may have about having loose skin after your liposuction.

3. Shorter Recovery Time

Because there is less trauma and irritation to the surrounding tissues, VASER liposuction procedures come with a shorter recovery time. You may also notice results sooner because there is usually less swelling to mask the results of the fat reduction.

Is VASER Liposuction a Weight Loss Treatment?

While fat is being removed during an ultrasonic liposuction procedure, it should not be viewed as an alternative to losing weight. VASER body sculpting is a way to target stubborn fat that isn’t responding to diet and exercise. If you are in the process of losing weight, your doctor may recommend getting close to your target weight before scheduling your liposuction procedure. Then, you can use the treatment to help sculpt your ideal body shape. During the same procedure, fat transfers can also be performed if you want to use some of your fat to augment another area.

What to Expect From Your VASER Liposuction Procedure

At our practice, you will always have a detailed consultation to help prepare you for your VASER Lipo treatment. Once you are identified as an ideal candidate and the day of your procedure arrives, you will receive an anesthetic. Depending on the situation, you may have local anesthesia with sedation or general anesthesia.

During your procedure, we will make the incision and then insert a medicated fluid into the treatment area. This tumescent fluid makes it easier to remove fat. Next, the ultrasonic probe is inserted into the area and breaks down the fat for removal. Finally, the fat is aspirated from the area using a cannula.

VASER Lipo Recovery Time

VASER Lipo recovery time is typically much shorter. While you may still have some bruising, swelling, and tenderness after the treatment, you can expect this to subside after two to three weeks. It is usually mostly gone by five to six weeks. You will need to stay away from heavy activities and wear a compression garment for a couple of weeks. After two weeks, most patients are able to return to work even if they have a more active job.

As time goes on following your ultrasonic liposuction, you should notice improving results as additional swelling goes down and your skin tightens from the treatment. It can take a few months before the full results of your procedure are seen. Remember that everyone is different and may have different rates of recovery.

RHA Collection of Fillers

At our Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery & Longevity Center locations in Noblesville, IN, Shelbyville, IN, Danville, IL, Healdsburg, CA, and Ukiah, CA, we offer an innovative line of dermal fillers called The RHA® Collection. These fillers use unique formulas to treat both expression lines and the signs of aging that result from volume loss. Patients can target multiple problem areas during one treatment to improve their appearance and boost their confidence.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are cosmetic injectables with a smooth, gel-like formula that, when injected into the skin, can plump, lift, and contour the treatment area to correct aging-related concerns and enhance facial features to improve facial aesthetics and promote patients’ satisfaction in their appearance. We offer several lines of fillers at our Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery & Longevity Center locations in the Northern CA area, including the innovative RHA® Collection.

The RHA® Collection consists of injectable fillers formulated with a flexible, hyaluronic-acid-based formula that, upon injection, can help patients accomplish different aging-related and aesthetic goals. This line is different from other dermal fillers because it is the first-ever FDA-approved line that can use a hyaluronic-acid-based formula to treat expression lines on the upper half of the face.

The Traditional Use of Dermal Fillers and Neuromodulators

Before this collection entered the cosmetic world, there were two primary injectables designed to treat the most common signs of aging: dermal fillers and neuromodulators. Products like Botox and Dysport qualify as neuromodulators, and they work on the muscular level to smooth expression lines with an active ingredient called botulinum toxin A.

This purified protein relaxes the muscles and blocks communication between the brain and nerve signals. After treatment, the muscles respond to the active ingredient and no longer contract, which makes facial expressions less exaggerated and the skin looks smoother.

Treating Volume Loss With Hyaluronic-Acid-Based Fillers

In the same way, dermal fillers traditionally have been the primary solution for those wanting to target aging that has resulted from volume loss in the middle and lower half of the face. Different dermal fillers contain a gel-like formula that mimics the hyaluronic acid that the body produces naturally to restore volume into specific areas to augment the lips, smooth facial folds, and soften lines.

The RHA® Collection Difference

The RHA® Collection is different from other lines of fillers. It uses a special manufacturing process and a hyaluronic acid-based formula to treat both dynamic wrinkles that result from repetitive muscular expressions on the upper half of the face and the lines that form from volume loss on the middle and lower half of the face with a specifically formulated product to do so. The results are immediate and long-lasting and deliver natural-looking results.

The RHA® Collection

RHA Redensity™

RHA Redensity™ is specifically formulated to treat the vertical lines around the mouth, technically called perioral lines but also referred to as lipstick lines. After initial treatment, results are immediate and last up to one year.

RHA® 2

RHA® 2 treats lines and wrinkles resulting from volume loss and dynamic expressions, including the lines around the mouth. It delivers immediate, subtle, and refined results that last up to 15 months.

RHA® 3

Patients who want to smooth the lines and wrinkles that result from volume loss and dynamic expressions may benefit from RHA® 3. Injections deliver natural results that are immediate and last up to 15 months.

RHA® 4

RHA® 4 is designed to smooth the deeper lines, wrinkles, and folds that form on the upper and lower half of the face due to both dynamic expressions and volume loss. RHA® 4 is an excellent solution for patients with the more advanced signs of aging who want to restore a youthful appearance and achieve natural-looking volume. Results are immediate and last up to 15 months.

What To Expect From Your Treatment

Your treatment will begin with a consultation at our NorCal office, where we will give you more details about these fillers, how they work, and how they can address your particular area of concern. We’ll ask you some questions about your medical history and ensure that you don’t have any allergies to any ingredients in the injectable. Then we can design your treatment plan with one or more of these fillers.

The Treatment Process

These injections are virtually painless, but if necessary, before your treatment, we can apply a topical numbing cream to your skin. When you come to one of our Northern CA offices, we’ll take every step to promote your comfort during treatment. You can expect immediate results following your treatment, and those results will continue to develop and improve in the week following your treatment.

Post-Treatment Care

After your treatment, you can resume your normal daily activities. The treatment itself is quick and qualifies as a lunchbreak treatment since injections only take minutes to administer. It’s important that you follow some post-treatment instructions to ensure the best results.

It’s important to avoid blood-thinning supplements and medications, alcohol, and strenuous workouts for the first 24 hours. You should also avoid anything that significantly elevates your body temperature and excessive sun exposure.

Am I a Candidate?

You may be a good candidate for one or more of the fillers from the RHA® Collection if you want an alternative and long-lasting solution for dynamic wrinkles and aging-related volume loss. We can choose the right fillers to address dynamic expression lines, smile lines, lip lines, and facial folds resulting from volume loss to help you achieve the most comprehensive results.

Achieve Younger, Smoother-Looking Skin

This innovative collection of dermal fillers provides patients in Northern California with a safe and natural way to combat aging and improve their appearance through a quick, safe, and minimally invasive treatment. We can give you more information about these unique fillers during your initial consultation and help determine if one or more is the right choice for you.

DAXXIFY

At our Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery & Longevity Center locations in Noblesville, IN, Shelbyville, IN, Danville, IL, Healdsburg, CA, and Ukiah, CA, we offer an innovative cosmetic injectable called DAXXIFY® that can smooth expression lines to address the way aging process has altered your appearance. With this injectable, you can achieve smoother, younger, and healthier-looking skin and enjoy long-lasting results.

DAXXIFY®

There are several different injectables available for cosmetic use that qualify as neuromodulators, products that work on the muscular level to smooth expression lines, also known as dynamic wrinkles, on the upper half of the face. While most of these products contain a similar combination of active ingredients, DAXXIFY® is different.

A Peptide-Powered Injectable

This injectable is a peptide-powered treatment, and while it does use botulinum toxin A to smooth frown lines, it’s made with a unique formula that enables it to deliver results that can last longer than the traditional neuromodulators. This injectable uses a peptide as the primary stabilizer in its formula and is free of human and animal by-products.

Upon initial injection, you can expect your results to last anywhere from six to nine months. At the very least, you’ll need two treatments per year to maintain wrinkle-free results year-round.

How It Works

DAXXIFY® injections target the muscles around and above the eyebrows and relaxes those muscles, a result that enables the skin to rest, which results in a frown line-free appearance, or significantly softened lines and wrinkles. The active ingredient blocks communication between the brain and the muscles so that they don’t contract in exaggerated expressions and worsen the lines in your skin.

What It Treats

This injectable is specifically designed to treat frown lines. Patients of all ages can experience frown lines between their brows. For some, these lines appear earlier in life due to genetic predisposition, sun damage, or environmental factors. For others, a combination of aging, collagen, hyaluronic acid, elastin loss, and repetitive muscular movements cause the development of these lines between the eyebrows.

While frown lines may look different when they develop on two separate patients, they typically appear as one or two indentations that often resemble the number one or 11. Injections into the area will relax the muscles responsible for the movements that lead to frown lines, allow the skin to rest, and enable you to enjoy smooth, wrinkle-free skin long-term.

What To Expect From the Treatment Process

The DAXXIFY® injection process is similar to other the injection process of anti-aging injectable treatments. We can apply a topical numbing cream to the skin between your eyebrows before administering the product to make sure that you maintain optimal comfort. Then, we will make a series of injections with the right dosage based on your needs and the severity of your frown lines.

Your entire treatment will take minutes to complete, and we can administer other anti-aging injectables at the same time, if necessary, to target additional areas of your face with products like our dermal fillers designed, to treat volume loss.

Your Results

After your treatment, you can expect to see improvements in the appearance of your frown lines within the first one to two days. As the active ingredient relaxes the muscles around the eyebrows, you’ll notice that your frown lines will soften and, in some cases, disappear entirely.

You can expect to see results within one to two days of your treatment, and they will continue to improve as your skin responds to the treatment and no longer has to contract repetitively. Our goal is to inject the necessary amount of product for your particular concerns so that you maintain a natural-looking appearance, albeit a younger and well-rested one.

How Long Will My Results Last?

Unlike other cosmetic injectables that use the active ingredient botulinum toxin A to smooth expression lines, this injectable delivers results that last much longer. You can expect your anti-aging results to last anywhere from six to nine months.

The total length of your results depends on how quickly your body metabolizes the product. As your body metabolizes the product, you’ll regain your ability to make exaggerated expressions like frowning, eyebrow furrowing, and squinting. As you do, you’ll notice that those frown lines will reappear, and at this point, you can schedule a follow-up treatment at one of our Northern California area offices to maintain your smoother and younger-looking skin.

Who Is a Candidate?

Some patients will not qualify for treatment, including pregnant and nursing women, patients who are allergic to any of the ingredients in the injectable, and those who have a skin infection at the planned injection site. An initial consultation at one of our NorCal area offices is the best way to learn more about this treatment and determine your treatment eligibility.

During your consultation at one of our Northern CA area offices, we’ll answer any questions you have about the treatment, process, or product, evaluate your treatment area, and ask you some questions about your medical history and any past experience with neuromodulators like Botox or Dysport. If for any reason, this treatment is not the right option for you, we also offer treatments with Botox and Dysport to treat expression lines, two products that may better suit your needs.

Erase Your Frown Lines With DAXXIFY®

Frown lines can make you look and feel older and unapproachable, but the good news is you don’t have to let them define you. With this innovative treatment, there is a way to temporarily and safely reduce and even eliminate frown lines long-term. We can provide you with more details about the treatment when you visit one of our Northern California area offices to determine if it’s the right choice for you and then design your unique treatment plan accordingly.

How Long Does Tattoo Removal Take?

We often get asked by people in Northern California about the process of removing tattoos and how long it takes. Tattoos are popular here in Norcal, but so is removal! The truth is that there is no one-size-fits-all answer to this question, as the time it takes to remove a tattoo depends on several factors. At Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery & Longevity Center in Noblesville, IN, Shelbyville, IN, Danville, IL, Healdsburg, CA, and Ukiah, CA, we can explain the details that will apply to you in your initial consultation.

Before you come, read on to learn more about various factors that influence the removal process, how lasers work to remove tattoos, and what you can do to support your body’s natural healing process and speed things up.

How Long Does Tattoo Removal Take?

The amount of time it will take to remove a tattoo depends on the characteristics of the tattoo itself and some things about your own body.

Tattoo Characteristics

The physical characteristics of a tattoo play a crucial role in determining the length of time required for its removal. To understand why, let’s take a closer look at each of the following factors:

Size

The larger the tattoo, the more time it will take to remove. This is because larger tattoos require more laser treatments to shatter all of the ink particles and more time for the body’s lymphatic system to remove them. For example, a small wrist tattoo might take 4 to 6 laser treatments to remove, while a full sleeve tattoo could take upwards of 20 treatments.

Color

The color of a tattoo also influences the length of time it takes to remove. This is because different colors of ink absorb different wavelengths of laser light. For instance, black and blue inks tend to be the easiest to remove, while green and yellow inks can be more stubborn. Red and orange inks are often in between, with removal times varying depending on the specific shade and brand of ink used.

Age

Tattoos that have been on the skin for a longer period of time are generally easier to remove than newer tattoos. This is because the ink has had time to settle into the skin, making it easier for the laser to target and shatter the particles. On the other hand, a fresh tattoo with crisp lines and bright colors may require more treatments to fade, as the ink is still closer to the surface of the skin.

Location and Placement

The location of a tattoo on the body can also impact the removal process. Tattoos on areas with thin skin, such as the wrist or ankle, tend to be more difficult to remove than tattoos on areas with thicker skin, such as the back or thigh. This is because the skin in these areas is less able to absorb the laser energy and may require more treatments to break down the ink particles.

The placement of the tattoo can also impact the quality and removal process. Tattoos that are placed in areas that are prone to stretching, such as the inner forearm or the upper chest, may become distorted over time, making them more difficult to remove.

Quality

The quality of a tattoo can also play a role in the length of time it takes to remove it. The skill and experience of the tattoo artist can affect the quality of the tattoo, for example, and in turn, the removal process. A well-done tattoo with clean lines and even color distribution is generally easier to remove than a poorly done tattoo with blurry lines and uneven color. This is because the laser can more easily target the ink particles in a well-done tattoo, resulting in faster removal times.

The quality of the ink used can also impact the removal process. High-quality, professional-grade inks tend to be more consistent in composition and color. Lower-quality inks may contain impurities that can make them more difficult to remove and may also result in unwanted side effects, such as scarring.

Health and Lifestyle Factors

The speed of tattoo removal can be impacted not only by the physical characteristics of the tattoo but also by a person’s overall health and lifestyle. Here are some factors to consider:

Overall Health

A person’s overall health can have a significant impact on the speed of tattoo removal. Individuals with strong immune systems and good overall health are likely to experience faster removal times. Conversely, those with weakened immune systems or chronic health conditions may take longer to remove their tattoos.

Stress

Stress can have a negative impact on the body’s ability to heal and remove the shattered ink particles. High levels of stress can weaken the immune system and slow down the removal process. To support the tattoo removal process, it is important to manage stress through relaxation techniques, exercise, and a healthy lifestyle.

Medications

Certain medications can also impact the removal process. For example, some medications can make the skin more sensitive to laser treatment, while others can interfere with the body’s natural healing process. It is important to discuss any medications you are taking with us so we can help you learn whether they might interfere with the process.

Lifestyle Habits

Lifestyle habits, such as alcohol and drug use, can also impact the speed of tattoo removal. Alcohol and drugs can weaken the immune system and slow down the healing process, making it harder for the body to remove the shattered ink particles. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle, including avoiding harmful substances, can help support the tattoo removal process.

Exposure to Sunlight

Exposure to sunlight can also impact the removal process. Direct sunlight can cause the skin to become more sensitive to laser treatment, making it more difficult to remove the tattoo. To protect the skin and support the removal process, it is important to avoid direct sunlight and wear protective clothing or use sunscreen during and after laser treatment.

How Does This Work?

When a laser is directed at a tattoo, the high-intensity light is absorbed by the tattoo ink. This energy shatters the ink particles into smaller fragments, which the body’s lymphatic system then removes over time.

The laser works by emitting a specific wavelength of light that is absorbed by the tattoo ink. This energy creates a photothermal effect that shatters the ink particles into smaller fragments. The laser’s pulse duration and energy level can also impact how effectively it removes the tattoo, but it’s not always possible to use the strongest and longest pulses. The pulses have to be calibrated to match the color of the tattoo and to differentiate between skin color and tattoo colors, so the skin is protected.

How Can I Speed Up the Removal Process?

The process of removing a tattoo puts stress on the body, and supporting the immune system can help speed up the removal time. Here are some ways to do just that:

Healthy Diet

Maintaining a healthy diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, and lean protein can provide the body with the nutrients it needs to heal and remove the shattered ink particles. A balanced diet with plenty of vitamins and minerals can also support the immune system, allowing it to work more efficiently in removing the tattoo ink. Consuming a diet that is low in processed foods and high in whole, nutrient-rich foods can help keep the body in optimal health, promoting faster healing and faster removal.

Hydration

Drinking plenty of water is crucial for flushing the shattered ink particles from the body. Water helps to keep the skin healthy and promotes faster healing, making it an essential component of the tattoo removal process. It is recommended to drink at least 8 glasses of water per day to support the tattoo removal process and to keep the body well hydrated.

Harmful Substances

Alcohol and nicotine can interfere with the body’s natural healing process, slowing down the removal of the tattoo ink. These substances can weaken the immune system, making it more difficult for the body to remove the shattered ink particles.

Sleep and Stress

You can also support your immune system by getting plenty of sleep and minimizing stress. While that last is hard to do, taking regular walks, meditating, and getting massages are a couple of things you can do especially during this time to help your body finish the removal process as quickly as possible.

How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

Are you tired of constantly dealing with unwanted hair through shaving, plucking, and waxing? At Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery & Longevity Center in Noblesville, IN, Shelbyville, IN, Danville, IL, Healdsburg, CA, and Ukiah, CA, we offer laser hair removal treatments for everyone in the Northern California area! If you’re ready to enjoy our gorgeous Norcal weather without worrying about whether you shaved today, come talk to us.

How Does Laser Hair Removal Work?

About Hair

Hair is composed of a protein called keratin and is produced in small tubes in the skin called follicles. The hair follicle contains blood vessels that provide nourishment for the growing hair. Each hair follicle goes through cycles of growth and rest, and it is during the growth phase that hair can be effectively treated with a laser.

About the Laser

Lasers emit light energy, and this energy targets the follicles via your hairs themselves. The light energy is attracted to the melanin in your hair, which is what gives hair its color. The light energy is transformed into heat, which damages the hair follicle and prevents it from producing new hair. The laser emits light in the near-infrared range, which is well absorbed by melanin.

When the laser is applied to the skin, the energy goes harmlessly through the skin because the laser is calibrated to ignore the skin pigmentation and target the pigmentation in your hair. The heat generated by the laser damages the hair follicle, causing it to stop producing new hair.

What Do Hair Growth Phases Have to Do With Anything?

The laser works best on hair that is in the growth phase because the follicle is larger and contains more pigment at this time. It’s important to note that not all hair is in the growth phase at the same time, which is why multiple treatments are typically needed.

Hair growth cycles can vary from person to person, but on average, hair goes through three stages of growth: anagen, catagen, and telogen. The anagen phase is the active growth phase. The catagen phase is the transitional phase, when the hair is no longer growing but has not yet shed. The telogen phase is the resting phase, when the hair has shed, and a new hair is beginning to grow.

How Many Treatments Are Required?

Typically, people need between 4 and 8 treatments, depending on the area being treated, the density of the hair, and the individual’s hair growth cycle. It is important to wait 4 to 6 weeks between treatments to allow time for the hair to enter the anagen phase and be effectively treated. The number of treatments needed can vary, but on average, hair growth is reduced by about 70% after 4 to 8 treatments.

How Does the Hair “Disappear” After Treatment?

After a laser treatment, the treated hair will begin to shed over the next few days to a week. This shedding process is normal and is a sign that the laser treatment has been successful. At first, this will look a lot like new hair growth, but don’t be discouraged. That’s actually your body getting rid of the treated hair!

Any hair that does grow back will be finer and lighter in color, and there will be less of it. Some of the follicles will only be damaged if they weren’t in the active growing stage when the laser hit them. Follicles that were actively growing when targeted won’t regrow any hair at all.

What Are Some of the Benefits of Laser Hair Removal?

Unlike traditional hair removal methods, this one actually destroys the hair follicle, preventing it from growing hair again. This means the process can offer some pretty wonderful benefits:

Say Goodbye to Razor Burn

Razor burn can be a constant problem, especially for men with thick beards or women who shave areas of the body that society deems “unacceptable.” With this treatment, you can enjoy smooth, hairless skin and put an end to razor burn for good.

Enjoy Life Pain-Free

Shaving, plucking, and waxing can be painful and irritating to the skin. Laser treatments provide a comfortable solution that minimizes discomfort and saves you from the pain of traditional hair removal methods.

Gain Back Lost Time

The average woman spends about 72 days of her life shaving, and the average man spends 45 days shaving his face alone. We don’t notice this time sink because shaving only takes a short time each day: but with lasers, you can reclaim those lost hours and enjoy more time doing the things you love. (And just think about what that amount of time is worth. Even if you only value it at $12 an hour, that’s over $20,000 in a lifetime!)

Reach Everywhere, Easily

For some people, the physical act of shaving can be difficult, especially for those trying to reach hard-to-get-to areas, like the back. This treatment offers an easy solution for removing hair from these areas and stops you from feeling like an acrobat every time you need to shave.

In the past, laser hair removal was only recommended for people with light-colored skin. With advancements in laser technology, the treatment can now be performed on a wide range of skin tones, including those with darker skin.

Is This Treatment Right for You?

Laser treatments can be a great fit for many people, but the best way to determine if it’s right for you is to schedule a consultation with us. Our specialists will carefully consider your hair type, skin type, and goals to help you find the right answer for your unwanted hair. Here are a few things to consider as you decide if this is right for you:

The Color of Your Hair

The laser needs to be able to identify the melanin in the hair shaft to target the follicle. If your hair is very light in color, laser treatment may not be an option for you. The good news is that modern lasers can typically target all but the very lightest reds and greys.

Your Budget

This treatment might feel expensive when you compare it to the cost of a couple of cheap razors and a can of shaving cream: but it can save you money in the long run. The average woman will spend nearly $15,000 on hair removal products over a lifetime!

Areas of Treatment

This treatment can be used to treat hair on most parts of the body, including the face, legs, arms, underarms, back, chest, abdomen, bikini area, and even the neck. The most common areas for laser hair removal are the underarms, legs, and bikini line.

The Face: Popular With Everyone!

The face is a sensitive area and requires special care and attention. Laser treatments on the face are usually limited to the upper lip, chin, and sideburns. However, in some cases, laser hair removal may be performed on the forehead, cheeks, and neck.

Popular With Men

Laser treatments on the chest, back, and abdomen are popular among men, though it’s certainly an option for women, too. Men may wish to be completely hair-free in these areas, or they may want to simply reduce the amount of hair they have to present a different look.

Popular With Women

The bikini area is a common target for women, as it can help achieve a cleaner and more defined appearance than shaving, and with a lot less risk of razor burn and missed hairs.

FYIs

Regardless of the area being treated, it is important to follow pre-treatment instructions, such as avoiding sun exposure, to ensure the best results. We’ll tell you what you need to know when you come to us for a consultation.

It is important to note that laser hair removal is not recommended for certain areas, such as the eyelids and surrounding eye area. Additionally, it is not recommended for use on moles or birthmarks.
