Michele Zormeier, MD oversees operations at the Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery and Longevity Center as owner and physician. Under her leadership, the practice provides a wide range of plastic surgery, body contouring, and aesthetic procedures to make patients look their best along with regenerative medical treatment options that include bio-identical hormone therapy and medical grade supplements to make patients feel their best. With over 20 years of surgical experience, Dr. Michele Zormeier is double-board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Dr. Michele Zormeier is a graduate of Wayne State University with high distinction, earning memberships in the Rho Chi and Alpha Omega Alpha honor societies throughout her education. After gaining several years of experience as a registered pharmacist and medical school, Dr. Michele Zormeier began developing her surgical skills with five years of internship and residency at the Detroit Medical Center, followed by two years of fellowships through Indiana University in head and neck and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and subsequently nine years as an associate physician and facial plastic surgeon. As a fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging, Dr. Michele Zormeier continues medical education in anti-aging, regenerative, and functional medicine to keep current on medical advances. She has received individualized hands on training through the Ageless Regenerative Institute which has allowed her to broaden her practice. Dr. Michele Zormeier relies on her education and knowledge to lead the Zormeier Cosmetic Surgery & Longevity Center.
Over the course of her career, Dr. Michele Zormeier has contributed extensively to medical research and publications on a range of subjects. Her work involved the study of pulsed light and laser treatments, the causes and treatments of a form of skin cancer known as squamous cell carcinoma, research on the chemotherapy drug Carboplatin, and the effects of botulinum toxin on aiding the speech of laryngectomy patients to name a few.
Dr. Michele Zormeier continues to demonstrate her commitment to her profession as a member of numerous professional organizations, including the International Hormone Society, the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, and the American Medical Association.
